Up next

After back to back games against some of the top teams in the state in Sunnyside Christian and Yakama Tribal, the Pirates don't get much of a break before returning to the hardwood with more tough matchups on the horizon.

They are slated for one more game each against the Knights and Eagles, but also have two games remaining against the Trout Lake Mustangs, the No. 4 ranked Class 1B team in the state, according to the WIAA RPI Rankings. At 10-2 overall, the Mustangs only have lost to Class 1A Stevenson (62-60 on Dec. 20) and to Sunnyside Christian (68-42 on Jan. 4) with seven games remaining.

The Pirates face the Mustangs for the first time on Friday at Trout Lake with a 7:30 p.m. tipoff before hosting Sunnyside Christian the next day at 2:30 p.m. in Bickleton.
