Masons look for Books for Bikes

January 23, 2019

Announcements from the Primary School: The outside doors to the Primary School cafe will be locked at 8:15 a.m. This will help to better secure the school and keep track of students coming in late. Parents/guardians will be redirected to the front office doors if they drop off students after 8:15 a.m. Parents/guardians of late students are encouraged to bring their student to the front office for a tardy slip. Thank you all for helping to keep the amazing school safe.

Once again the Masons are sponsoring Books for Bikes. This is a program where the students read books and then fill out a ticket for each book read. The tickets are collected in the school library. Then at the May 15 assembly, names will be drawn to win bikes.

Christ The King Lutheran Church will resume their Veterans Dinner on Thursday, Feb. 21 at 6 p.m. The church is located on the corner of Simcoe and S. Columbus. There is a handicapped access around the back. The meal is free to veterans and their spouses or caregivers.

Did you know that you could watch videos through the Ft. Vancouver Regional Library (FVRL) with your library card? Kanopy is an award-winning video streaming service providing access to more than 30,000 independent and documentary films—titles of unique social and cultural value from The Criterion Collection, The Great Courses, Media Education Foundation, and thousands of independent filmmakers. There are hundreds of new films each month. You can stream films anytime, anywhere, on your preferred devices, and, better yet, it is all free. Get details from your Goldendale Library.
