The 'Age Wave' rolls into Klickitat County

Every fall, the Washington Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) prepares a report for a conference of public and private health, aging and senior services agencies. The theme of the 2018 conference was “The Age Wave,” meaning the growing number of people age 65 and over, and the effects they will have on our lives, our counties and towns, and our futures. The findings are startling, especially for Klickitat County.
