Robbed shop offers reward

On Jan. 31 Ashlea Lazelle, owner of Hands On Nail and Hair Salon at 4 Bickleton Highway, met with Emmitt Granger of AB Mylortis LLC to discuss the implementation of enhanced security measures in response to a break-in and robbery of her salon.

According to Lazelle, the break-in occurred between 5:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11, and 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, when the salon was closed and Lazelle was on vacation. When she opened the business at 10 a.m. Wednesday morning, she discovered that her business had been ransacked and that retail items and business assets valued at roughly $8,000 had been stolen.
