Timberwolves' hoopsters fall to Zillah on senior night

At a home game on Friday February 1, the Goldendale boys ran into a buzz aw called Zillah, losing to a team destined for state by a score of 79–32. The Timberwolves shot 26 percent from the field and 55 percent from the line, with no player scoring in double digits. The Panthers’ pressure defense held the Wolves to 7 assists and created 15 turnovers. High scorers for Goldendale were Andrew Ihrig and Napoleon Owen, with 7 points each. Zillah, coming off a 113–43 drubbing of the Granger Lancers, looked as good as advertised, making high-percentage shots and hitting 87 percent of their free throws.
