FOR THE GRANTING OF A FRANCHISE AGREEMENT BETWEEN Klickitat County AND LIGHTSPEED NETWORKS, INC.

In accordance to statutory provisions of RCW 36.55, RCW 80.32 and in accordance with

Klickitat County's Accommodation of Utilities on County Road Right-of-Way Policy the

County Commissioners are to hold a public hearing prior to granting a non-exclusive

franchise for the construction, maintenance and operations of Fiber Optic Systems

together with wires and other appurtenances, upon, under, along and across various

Klickitat County Roads located in the following section, township and ranges within Klickitat County:

Sections 1-36 in Townships 2N, Ranges 12E, 13E, 14E, 15E, 16E and Township 3N, Ranges 10E, 11E, 12E, 13E, 14E, 15E, 16E and Township 4N, Ranges, 10E, 11E, 12E, 13E, 14E, 15E, 16E and Township 5N, Ranges 10E, 11E, 12E, 13E, 14E, 15E, 16E, 17E and Township 6N, Ranges 10E, 11E, 12E, 13E, 14E, 15E, 16E, 17E, E.W.M.

NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

TO USE Klickitat County HISTORICAL PRESERVATION FUNDS

The Klickitat County Board of Commissioners has discretionary funds, generated by recording fees, which are intended to promote historical preservation or historical programs, which may include preservation of historic documents. Klickitat County is currently seeking proposals for projects to use these funds. The total amount to be awarded in 2019 is $5,000.

Projects may be to acquire or preserve local historic buildings, artifacts or documents; to develop and present local historical programs or events; or to perform research into local history. Applicants must be non-profit or governmental entities which perform educational, interpretive, or preservative activities within the boundaries of Klickitat County which promotes or preserves the County’s local history.

Descriptions of the program, along with applications, are available in the County Commissioners Office at 205 S. Columbus Street, Room 103 in Goldendale. You may also call the office at (509) 773-4612, or email Bocc@klickitatcounty.org

WHEREAS, on 9/21/2005, a certain Mortgage Deed of Trust was executed by OSCAR K. CRONE AND JESSIE Z. There is no right of redemption, or right of possession based upon a right of redemption, in the mortgagor or others subsequent to a foreclosure completed pursuant to the Act. Therefore, the Foreclosure Commissioner will issue a Deed to the purchaser(s) upon receipt of the entire purchase price in accordance with the terms of the sale as provided herein. HUD does not guarantee that the property will be vacant. The scheduled foreclosure sale shall be cancelled or adjourned if it is established, by documented written application of the mortgagor to the Foreclosure Commissioner not less than 3 days before the date of sale, or otherwise, that the default or defaults upon which the foreclosure is based did not exist at the time of service of this notice of default and foreclosure sale, or all amounts due under the mortgage agreement are tendered to the Foreclosure Commissioner, in the form of a certified or cashier's check payable to the Secretary of HUD, before public auction of the property is completed. The amount that must be paid if the Mortgage Deed of Trust is to be reinstated prior to the scheduled sale is based on the nature of the breach, this loan is not subject to reinstatement. A total payoff is required to cancel the foreclosure sale or the breach must be otherwise cured. The Broadband Planning Committee (BPC) will hold a meeting on February 25, 2019 from 5:00-6:30 p.m. The BPC’s purpose is to gather stakeholder input on the best way to expand and improve internet service in Goldendale. A public open house will follow from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Both meetings will be held at City Hall. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Klickitat County Board of Adjustment will hold a public hearing on March 4, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. in the Klickitat County Courthouse, Commissioners Meeting Room, 205 S. Columbus, Goldendale, WA.

The purpose of said hearing is to hear all interested parties who wish to testify for or against the following proposal:

Conditional Use Application CUP2018-10. Applicant: Jay Anderson. Proposal to use property as an event venue. The property will be used to host up to 25 events annually May through October weather permitting (weddings, reunions, funeral receptions, family celebrations, etc.).
