Goldendale woman killed in Indiana car crash

A 22-year-old woman from Goldendale died in a car crash on Interstate 65 in Tippecanoe County, Indiana, on Sunday, according to WLFI TV in Lafayette, Indiana.

Indiana State Police (ISP) said it happened in the southbound lanes about three miles north of the State Road 28 exit, the television report stated.

Troopers said a semi was stopped in the lanes, paused because of crashes ahead on the interstate. The ISP said the semi was then rear-ended by a passenger car. Witnesses said the car was approaching at high speeds and that it failed to slow down before striking the semi.
