Jerry Lee Belieu

Jerry Lee Belieu, 81, of Nampa, Idaho, passed away on Jan. 27, 2019, at home where he lived with his son, Ryan, and family.
Jerry was born Sept. 9, 1937, in Grandview, Washington, to Arthur W. (Bud) and Mary Louise Belieu. In 1948 the family moved to Firwood near Goldendale, where he graduated from high school and married Allene Tallman. Jerry and Allene had five daughters: Beth Dunn, Laura Jones, Marietta Foster, Denise Canedo, and Tracy Webb. In 1967 Jerry and his family moved to Clarkston, Washington. Jerry later moved to Lewiston, Idaho, after marrying his second wife, Ronda Lynn Tabor Mclean, and had a son, Ryan Belieu.
Jerry is survived by his sister, Katherine Henry; his brother Jim; 17 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and an extended family of many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Carol Hatfield; his mother Mary; his father Bud; sisters Rosemary and Maxine; and brothers Marion, Loren, Roger, Art, Norman, and Clyde.
Jerry was proud and loved his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He would take his family camping, fishing, hunting, and to Sunday picnics exploring the countryside.
Jerry retired from Potlach after working there for 31 years.
A memorial for Jerry Belieu will be held March 2, 2019, at noon at the Maryhill Church. A potluck will be provided afterwards.
