Here's the big deal
People may ask, “what’s the big deal?” After all, the people of the state already approved I-1639 with 59 percent of the vote.
The big deal is that the people cannot vote away their rights. Those rights are considered sacred and are the envy of every prospective immigrant who has sought sanctuary and prosperity in the United States of America. Our forefathers forged a constitutional republic, not a democracy. The minority cannot be bullied by a majority because of these rights.
