Track season begins

WIND-MADE SNOW BALLS: A phenomenon known as snow rollers hit the Glenwood area on Saturday. The wind whips up snow balls on open fields.

The 2019 Glenwood School Chili Cook-off and Spelling Bee is in the record books. By all reports, there were many delicious chili recipes, and the decision was a difficult one. This year's winner, among both adult and student contestants, was 7th grader Joslyn Arnold. Way to go, Joslyn. The spelling bee had some repeat winners and some new ones. Winners this year were Laynie Ziegler- 1st grade, Jaxon Dean – 2nd grade, Landyn Ziegler – 3rd grade, Peyton Henderson - 5th grade, and Jarae Long – 6th grade. Congratulations to the winners and to all the students who participated.

In the adult division, many who participated did so in order to show support for their children or grandchildre...
