Lloyd to speak on Mt. Adams
February 27, 2019
Daryll Lloyd, widely regarded as one of the foremost authorities on Mount Adams and its shadow, will visit Goldendale on February 28 to promote his recently published book, Ever Wild: A Lifetime on Mount Adams, which explores the science and history of the mountain and describes his adventures there with his twin brother, Darvel.
Lloyd, who lives in Hood River, is a Northwest lecturer and author who started publishing articles about Mount Adams nationally in 1967. In 1970 he began presenting a popular slideshow titled "Mount Adams-the Forgotten Giant of Washington's Cascades." Now on a book tour, Lloyd is drawing full-house audiences for his hour-long lecture and video presentation.
