Just one more reminder of the wedding reception for the Guinns this Saturday, the 20th. Bob and Leona would like to invite all their friends to attend their ice cream and cake wedding reception on Saturday April 20th from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Grace Brethren Church in Goldendale.

Here’s another event for Saturday April 20th. The annual Glenwood Women’s Club Easter Egg Hunt will be held at the county park area in Pine Vista beginning at 10:00 a.m. The Easter Bunny will be making an appearance again this year and will be available for photos with the kids.

Everyone is welcome to celebrate Easter at the Glenwood Pioneer Memorial Community Church. Good Friday service will be April 19th at 6:00 p.m. There will be an Easter potluck brunch on Sunday, April 21st at 10:00 a.m., followed by the church service at 11:00.

Community cleanup day will be Monday, April 22nd. Watch out for students and staff when they are out picking up trash from our roadsides. Every year they do a great job and their efforts are greatly appreciated. A large dumpster will be placed in the school parking lot for this cleanup and the public is welcome to bring trash from their own spring cleanups. Please do not put items such as used cans of paint, batteries, and other hazardous items in the dumpster. Check with Toni at the school office for more information.

The Glenwood Rodeo Association will have another workday on April 28th. Anyone wishing to come help with preparation for this year’s rodeo is welcome. Hamburgers and hotdogs will be provided for lunch. If planning to attend please bring a salad or dessert to share. Work will start at 10:00 a.m. on the rodeo grounds.
