Regional sports round-up: Granger takes Goldendale

GHS Tennis

On Tuesday, April 9, Granger High School took care of Goldendale by a combined team score of 6-4. The boys team couldn’t muster a win on their side of the court going 0-5 in both singles and doubles. The girls team fared a bit better going 4-1. Kinley Mitchell had the best match winning 6-1, 6-0 against Toniya Millan. Doubles partners Olivia Erland and Taylor Rising along with Jenna Bradwell with Leslie Smith both went 6-0, 6-1. GHS fared better against Zillah on April 11 with the boys winning 3-2 and the girls had their way with the Panthers going 4-1 losing only one game across all matches. Both boys and girls teams are away at Zillah on April 18.
