Here's why you should be at the big meeting on May 1

Area residents interested in learning how a proposed clean energy project will provide millions of dollars to Rural 7 as well as the hospital, school, and rec districts—and possibly restart wind project development in the area—should attend a 7 p.m. meeting on May 1 at the Goldendale Grange.

Representatives of National Grid and Rye Development, the private sector companies now funding the Goldendale Energy Storage Project, will be at the meeting to describe project details and answer questions.

The project is critically important locally, regionally, and nationally:
