SBA Disaster News Release - One Month Left to Apply for SBA Disaster Loans


Director Tanya N. Garfield of the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Disaster Field Operations Center-West Monday reminded small nonfarm businesses in 11 Washington counties and neighboring counties in Oregon of the May 28 deadline to apply for an SBA federal disaster loan for economic injury. These low-interest loans are to offset economic losses because of reduced revenues caused by drought in the following primary counties that began July 24, 2018.

Primary Washington counties: Clark, Cowlitz, Lewis, Pacific, Skamania and Wahkiakum;

Neighboring Washington counties: Grays Harbor, Klickitat, Pierce, Thurston and Yakima;

Neighboring Oregon counties: Clatsop, Columbia, Hood River and...
