Fire hall burglar arrested

 


On April 21, Klickitat County Sheriff Deputy Tim Neher and Deputy Dwayne Matulovich arrested Dustin Randall, 34, in Klickitat on a warrant. A search warrant was issued on his vehicle that resulted in the recovery of a large amount of stolen property, including several items stolen from a recent county fire hall. In further investigation, they discovered several more stolen items in his vehicle.

On April 22, Chief Criminal Deputy Mike Kallio interviewed Randall in the jail, where Randall confessed to 11 burglaries which consisted mostly of fire halls. Randall also confessed to burglarizing several cabins in the county. Randall assisted in recovering some of the stolen property.

Randall was booked into the jail on 1 count Possession of Stolen Property 1st degree and one count of 3rd degree, as well as 3 counts of Residential Burglary, 8 counts of Burglary in the Second Degree, 8 counts of Malicious Mischief 2nd Degree, and 1 count of Possession of Burglar Tools.
