• Soroptimist International of Goldendale is offering a $2000 award to a woman, financial head of household, who is attending either an undergraduate degree program or a vocational skills training program, and who has financial need. Nov. 18

• Let’s Play Chess. 3:00pm- 5:00pm. A time and place to play chess. Chess boards available or bring your own. All ages and abilities welcome.

Nov. 19

• Adulting 101 Series: 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. The subject of the fourth and final week of the series is Nutrition and Self-Care. Young people ages 15-24 learn how to shop and cook for yourself, the basics of personal and home hygiene, and alternative ways to feel "high" without drugs or alcohol. Dinner is sponsored and provided by Klickitat Valley Health.

• Family Storytime. 10:30 am - 11:30 am. Hear stories, sing songs, and enjoy activities for children of all ages and their parents or caregivers.

• Winter Wonderland. 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm. One Evening to get to know what is available to you right here in your own backyard. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be here too. Winter Wonderland festivities for our community at Pete’s Pizza All are welcome! We have many vendors from Goldendale and would encourage more from our town. food, games, products, contests, painting, raffles, and don’t forget the Sleigh Rides.

Dec. 7

• The Christmas Store. 9:00-3:00pm. Father’s House Church will be hosting its Annual Christmas Store which provides shopping for families in need. Volunteers are needed Monday Through Friday 9:00am to noon before the sale. Donations of new or gently used items gladly accepted.

• Farmer’s Market Holiday Bazaar. 9:00am – 3:00pm at the Goldendale Primary School. Handcrafted gifts, handmade foods 2 floors of vendors. Santa and Mrs. Claus Appearing. If you would like to be a vendor contact Diana at 509-773-5205 or diana@bearscrest.com

Dec. 14

• Candy Cane Lane Christmas Parade. 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Celebrate a real hometown Candy Cane Lane Christmas Parade. The parade kicks off at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 14th, followed by pictures with Santa, Soup, and Hot Chocolate at the Masonic Lodge.
