Goldendale FFA competes at state convention

GOOD SHOWING: Goldendale FFA members competed at the state level.

On Wednesday, May 8, 42 Goldendale FFA Members, four parent volunteers (Christine Shattuck, Filiberto Ontiveros, Kelsey Hanning, and Lori Piper), and Goldendale FFA Advisors Randi and Joshua Krieg traveled to the WSU campus in Pullman.

This select group of 7-12th grade students competed at the Washington State FFA Convention for five days on the Washington State University Pullman campus.

The convention hosted more than 3,000 FFA members and guests from all over Washington state.

The Goldendale FFA chapter competed in 12 career development events (CDE) and leadership development events (LDE). These events help students develop the abilities to think critically, communicate clearly and per...
