City council meeting is all good news

NEW MEMBER: Jane Roberts is sworn in Monday night as the newest member of the city council.

It was a night of good news for the Goldendale City Council. Monday's session began with the swearing-in ceremony for new council member Jane Roberts, who was pleased to join the team

"It's a really exciting time to be on the city council," she said. "There's a lot of really great things in the works."

One of those was a presentation by Leslie Heibert, CEO of Klickitat Valley Health (KVH), on a proposed $15 million expansion of the hospital. It would result in a new two-story, 24,000-square-foot building.
