Entering the Goldendale Primary School (GPS) gymnasium on Friday, May 17, was like walking into a bees’ nest, only the bees were dribbling basketballs and hula-hooping while riding on unicycles. They were everywhere, and the controlled chaos was hilarious.

GPS physical education teacher Brad Fahlenkamp was responsible for setting this buzzing project in motion. When he was a student at Central Washington University in Ellensburg, he had a professor who started a similar club, so when he came to teach at GPS, he pitched the idea to the administration. After the idea was vetted for insurance and legal issues, he got the go-ahead.
