Young artist work on display at library


Goldendale Library Branch Manager Erin Krake wants young people from 5 to 18 to become involved in the programs the library offers them free of charge. To that end, she came up with the idea of displaying the artwork of kindergarteners through high-school seniors in the Camplan Room Gallery on the first floor of the library. The Youth Art Show opened on Monday, May 20. “We hope this show will become an annual offering that will invite wide-range participation from the local schools and, in time, from all of Klickitat County,” Krake says.
