One for the history books

 


The 85th annual Ketchum Kalf Rodeo is now in the history books. Good crowds for both days enjoyed a lot of fun and excitement. Three much-loved cowboys—Fred Steinbach, Mark Wiltz, and Angel Murillo—were honored with empty saddle ceremonies both days. These cowboys are greatly missed by all who knew them, and the rodeo association was privileged to be able to honor them in this traditional way.

Congratulations to Kaedence Loomis of Toppenish for winning the Junior Barrels and taking home the Shawna Roberson Memorial buckle. Kaedence, the great-granddaughter of Bubs and Marlene Murray, flew around those barrels in great time and really showed off all the hard work she has put in prepari...
