NOTICE OF MEETING TO ADOPT 2019-20 BUDGET AND CONDUCT PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to RCW 28A.505.050 and RCW 28A.505.060, that the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of Goldendale School District No. 404, Klickitat County, Washington (the “District”) will hold a regular board meeting on July 15, 2019, commencing at 7 PM in the Primary School Library, 820 S. Schuster St, Goldendale, Washington. The meeting is called for the purpose of fixing and adopting the budget of the District for the ensuing 2019-20 fiscal year. Prior to adoption of the 2019-20 budget, the Board will hold a hearing for the purpose of receiving comments from the public on the 2019-20 budget. Any person may appear at the hearing and be heard for or against any part of the 2019-20 budget, the four-year budget plan, or any proposed changes to uses of enrichment funding under RCW 28A.505.240. Upon conclusion of the hearing, the Board shall fix and determine the appropriation from each fund contained in the 2019-20 budget and shall, by resolution, adopt the 2019-20 budget, the four-year budget plan summary, and the four-year enrollment projection. 2019-20 budget information is available at the District Office.

Public Hearing Notice

Central Klickitat Conservation District

Rates and Charges Proposal

Central Klickitat Conservation District, in partnership with Eastern Klickitat Conservation District and Underwood Conservation District, is considering the adoption and implementation of a system of rates and charges in Klickitat County, as per the authority of RCW 89.08.405. The Central Klickitat Conservation District Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing to gather public input regarding this matter. The public is invited to attend the public hearing on Monday, July 22, at 4:00 PM. The location will be the Goldendale Grange located at 228 E Darland, Goldendale, Washington. Public Notice

BNSF Railway, Donald Omsberg, 2454 Occidental Ave S Ste 2D Seattle, WA 98134-1451, is seeking coverage under the Washington State Department of Ecology’s Construction Stormwater NPDES and State Waste Discharge General Permit.

The proposed project, BNSF McCredie Siding, is located at BNSF Mile Post (MP) 158.33 to MP 159.20 which is accessible from Washington State Route 14 MP 145.2 and MP 147.3 in Klickitat County.

This project involves 9 acres of soil disturbance for Other (Transportation) construction activities.

Some discharges and runoff goes to ground water. The receiving waterbody is Columbia River.

Any persons desiring to present their views to the Washington State Department of Ecology regarding this Application, or interested in Ecology’s action on this Application, may notify Ecology in writing no later than 30 days of the last date of publication of this notice. Ecology reviews public comments and considers whether discharges from this project would cause a measurable change in receiving water quality, and, if so, whether the project is necessary and in the overriding public interest according to Tier II anti-degradation requirements under WAC 173-201A-320.

CALL FOR BID

Sealed bids will be received by the Commission of Public Utility District No. 1 of Klickitat County for RNG Project Final Grading, Condensate and Compressed Air Systems Improvement Project 2019. Bids will be received until July 22, 2019 at 2:00 P.M., at the District’s office at 1313 South Columbus, Goldendale, Washington, 98620, at which time and place the bids will be publicly opened and read. The bid documents and specifications may be obtained at the District’s office.

Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier’s check on a bank that is a member of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation payable to the order of the

Commission of Public Utility District No. 1 of Klickitat County, or by a bid bond with a corporate surety licensed to do business in the State of Washington in an amount not less

than 5% of the amount of the bid. Each bid to be firm and binding for 60 days after the time set for the bid opening. Bidders are advised upon completion of any contract awarded to them they must furnish a certified statement of the nature and source of items in excess of $2,500 utilized in the performance of the contract procured from sources beyond the territorial boundaries of the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii.

The District reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, and to waive minor irregularities and errors.

July 18, 2019

The Klickitat County Citizen’s Review Committee (CRC) will support salmonid recovery by identifying credible and fundable habitat protection and enhancement projects. This process will support related programs and activities that produce sustainable and measurable benefits for fish and fish habitat. Therefore the CRC meets during the spring and summer months, with their regularly scheduled meeting times on the first Thursday of each month, unless otherwise noted.

These meetings are open to the residents of Klickitat County. The July Meeting will be held in the High Prairie Community Center, the July 18, 2019* has an Early start time of 5:30 PM
