RV 'resort' coming to Goldendale

HOME FOR HOMES ON WHEELS: Fourteen acres next to the Goldendale Quality Inn is the site of a new mobile home "resort."

Fourteen acres behind the Quality Inn in Goldendale are being transformed into a mobile home "resort."

The Mosbrucker family is developing the land behind its motel and expect to have it open for business sometime in the fall, with an initial capacity of 50 mobile homes.

What used to the Home and Hospice office of Klickitat Valley Health (KH) will become the resort office and gift shop. The building was moved to the site from KVH when it put in its Life Flight helicopter pad.

The site will also have a pickle ball playground and a walking path around its perimeter. It will be pet and kid friendly. Pioneer Engineering executed the plans for the resort, and local artist Felicia Gray is comp...
