Inslee visit moved up

KPUD dedication ceremony has to change date

September 4, 2019

The date of Gov. Jay Inslee's visit to Klickitat County has been moved up.

The Klickitat PUD is holding a dedication ceremony for its new renewable energy natural gas plant near Roosevelt, originally scheduled for Sept. 20 and printed in the KPUD magazine Ruralite as being on that date. However, scheduling conflicts required the date to be moved up to Sept. 18, and the change was too late to be included in Ruralite.

Inslee, along with Sen. Curtis King, will speak at the dedication ceremony. The event is open to the public.

The program is the dedication of the new H.W. Hill Renewable Natural Gas facility in Roosevelt. The dedication is at 10 a.m., followed by tours of the facility until 1 p.m.

The Sentinel will have a complete story in next week's edition. In the meantime, for more information visit
