Lube Brothers: new service in an old location

If you hear the name Lube Brothers and wonder if that was that music group on the Disney channel, you need to get around more. Lube Brothers is fairly new to Goldendale, although it's at a well-established location at the corner of Broadway and Chatfield.

In April of this year, the former Auto Service and Repair came up for sale. RJ and Shelly Mersch bought the business and opened it May 1, under the name of Lube Brothers. They wanted to have a family business that could be passed on to their children.

RJ is originally from Cascade Locks, Oregon. His love of mechanics started when he was just a small boy working with his dad on the equipment at the lumber mill in Cascade Locks. He lived i...
