The newly remodeled Goldendale Observatory isn't fully open yet, but the public can get an early view of it this Monday. The Observatory's giant telescope will provide a special viewing of the transit of Mercury-a celestial event that won't happen again until 2032. The program is open to the public and runs from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 11.
