Messrs. Brammel and Cornish of the Arlington National Bank have for some time been contemplating the putting in of electric lights and water works in Goldendale, and on Monday they met a number of the businessmen at the office of E.B. Wise to talk over the matter. They estimate the probable cost of an electric plant and putting the same in, together with water works of suitable capacity, to be from $25,000 to $28,000, and their proposition is for the City of Goldendale to issue Bonds in the sum of $15,000 payable in 20 years bearing 6 percent interest.
