Maryhill gets first mention in New York Times story

Maryhill Winery is the lead in a story in The New York Times published last Wednesday. The Times picked it up from Associated Press.

The story, “From Modest Beginnings, Washington Now a Force in Wine World,” chronicles the development of the wine industry in Washington State. It points out that Washington now ranks number four among all the wines from everywhere in the world sold in the U.S.—it sells more wines here than wines from France. Among American states, Washington ranks a distant second in wines sold in the U.S. behind California.
