Adulting Program teaches life skills

LEARNING LIFE SKILLS: The second session of the Adulting 101 series featured a panel of elected officials and political party organizers to discuss voting. The Adulting 101 series organized by Goldendale Community Library and Klickitat County WSU Extension 4-H Program wrapped up last month. The program is aimed to help 15- to 24-year-olds transition into adulthood.

Sixteen young people participated in the four-week program that included sessions on money management, healthy relationships, voting, and self-care.

The program was sponsored by Friends of Goldendale Community Library, Klickitat County 4-H Leadership Council, and Klickitat Valley Health, with support from Goldendale High School, Uncle Tony's Pizza, and Subway.
