Patricia Jensen

January 8, 2020

Patricia (Pat) June (Harbour) Jensen, a long-time resident of Tualatin, Oregon, died Dec. 27, 2019, at Cedar Crest Alzheimer's Special Care Center, Tualatin.

Born July 16, 1946 in Goldendale, Washington, the eldest child of Richard Dale and Ethel June (Hoctor) Harbour, Pat received a BA from Washington State University (1968). After college, Pat took a position at Jantzen Inc. and moved to Portland, where she met and married (1974) the love of her life, Robert Julius Jensen, Jr. Bob and Pat shared 46 wonderful years together and raised daughter Sarah Kathleen and son Robert Julius III.

When both children were in school, Pat resumed her career with a part-time position with Continental Mortgage Company (now HomeStreet Bank). This evolved into a full-time position, and she retired in 2009 as an assistant vice-president and construction loan officer.

Pat was an extremely kind, caring person and well loved by her family and all who knew her. She enjoyed long walks in good company, particularly at Cannon Beach, any book or movie with an engaging story, and had beautiful deep blue eyes and a wonderful smile. She and Bob enjoyed travel and visited Germany, France, Mexico, Alaska, New Zealand, and Australia.

Pat is survived by her devoted husband Bob, daughter Sarah, and son Robert; siblings Charles, John, William, Mary, Sally, Joseph, and Susan; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws. Pat was predeceased by her parents and brother George. Burial will be at Holy Trinity Cemetery, Goldendale, Washington, with her mother's family. A special thank you to the management and staff at Cedar Crest for their compassionate, loving care of our angel Pat. We also appreciate the care provided by the staff of Bristol Hospice during Pat's final three months.
