February 8, 1905 – 115 Years Ago

The city authorities have had a load of boulders dumped on Court Street opposite The Sentinel office, for the city prisoners to break-up.

February 12, 1920 -100 Years Ago

The first meeting of Louis Leidl Post No. 116, American Legion, was held in the Garage Hall last Friday evening, and to say that is was “some time” would not be out of the way. About 100 were present, including a delegation from the White Salmon Post. Cedric Miller, of Vancouver, Washington, was present as the guest of the Post, and explained the history and aim of the Legion and gave a very interesting talk.
