In whom do you place your trust these days?


Because I haven’t heard of any news except for the virus, let me touch on it.

For those of you experiencing a bit of cabin fever, remember the current deadline for reprieve is when the Lyle school will reopen on April 24—so far. And then you will all be able to bust loose and run free—maybe. But the Lyle Community Council has a food drive going that they wish to convey. Starting Monday, April 6, a bin will be near the school’s front doors from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekdays. This will help provide needed items for vulnerable people in our community and fill in the gaps in the school’s meals program.

The latest word from the government seeing the end to the shut down is another 30...
