TAKING CARE DURING TOUGH TIMES: Pet businesses in Goldendale, like others, are struggling. There are things you can do to help.

Thursday, March 26, saw the United States become the most COVID-19 infected nation in the world, one day after Gov. Jay Inslee finally put in place a "Stay Home - Stay Healthy" mandate. The pandemic will have a tremendous impact on everyone, and here is how pet owners and pet-based businesses in Klickitat County will be affected:

The actual wording of the mandate, as it applies to pet owners and pet-based industries includes:

• Prohibiting all people in Washington State from leaving their homes or participating in social, spiritual and recreational gatherings of any kind regardless of the number of participants
