Audible offering free books for listening


April 22, 2020, a for-pay source for books and other print materials available for listening on computers and devices, has launched a free service for schools and students during the pandemic crisis.

The service allows learners to listen to books for free, and it includes a sweeping collection of well-known books in English and several other languages.

On the service you’ll find many established classics—Jane Eyre, Brave New World, The Call of the Wild, Pride and Prejudice, The Picture of Dorian Gray, Hamlet, Les Miserables, and a host of others.
