A brief history of the Farms

During this time of “Stay Home Stay Well,” the residents of New Hope Farms are doing just that. Since there are no fun activities to report this month, I decided to summarize the history of the farm for those readers who are not familiar with it.
New Hope Farms is a nonprofit 501(c) (3) corporation that operates up to five adult family homes for developmentally challenged adults. The homes are located on 40 acres approximately six miles east of Goldendale.
