SUPER POWER: The preternatural ability of dogs to smell is now being tested to see if they can locate archaeological sites.

Mainstream media has been a bit preoccupied with COVID 19, police behavior, riots, and protests to cover some of the news surrounding pet animals, so here are some interesting tidbits from around the world.

• In the United Kingdom dogs are being trained to detect COVID 19. Dogs have been proven to be able to smell out certain diseases such as some forms of cancer, Parkinson's disease, and malaria. It is hoped that dogs will discover a unique odor associated with the disease. This would allow medical detection dogs to screen people instantly, rather than waiting for test results.
