Lyle Community Food Pantry opens


Good things come in small, medium, and large packages. Starting July 1, the Lyle Good Food Pantry will offer free food boxes twice a month at the Lyle Activity Center. Drive-up services will be available the first and third Wednesdays from 10am-1pm and 4pm-6pm, open to any family or individual in need. This critical community service is provided by volunteers in partnership with the Washington Gorge Action Programs (WAGAP).

Pantry operations will prioritize safety, convenience, and choice for patrons. While COVID restrictions remain in effect, visitors will select from a menu of options for their box, to be assembled by a volunteer and delivered to their car. Box size is determined by ho...
