On Sunday morning a party of 22 persons from Trout Lake, writer included, hooked on to their “grub” baskets, mounted their carriages, and started for a general good time at the Ice Caves. As the carriage in which the writer was a passenger happened to be an oxen wagon, attached to which were two yoke of oxen, something less than a 2:40 gait was maintained; but nevertheless we got there in time for dinner, which after being served, we grasped out torches and started in to explore the caves.
