Bargain Boutique changes hands, adds produce

IN NEW HANDS: The Bargain Boutique is owned and operated by Brandy (pictured here) and Lovic Ladner. It now carries no-spray, non-GMO produce.

Brandy and Lovic Ladner had been looking to move to Washington state for a while so four years ago, when Lovic found a job listing on Craig's List for farm work outside of Goldendale. The couple jumped at the chance to make the move from the northern California town of Colfax. Priot to the move, Brandy had owned her own small boutique but closed it due to having a baby on the way and instead started selling items online.

Shortly after arriving in Goldendale, Brandy became a vendor at Bargain Boutique selling Essential Oils, a new women's apparel line called "Fine Girl Clothing," and other items made in the USA.

Last year Brandy and Lovic purchased 40 acres adjacent to the farm and started...
